I’ve had the privilege of being mentored by Jenna Lambertz—co-owner of The Studio in Carroll, Iowa, and owner of both Lambertz Photography and Design and Ink by Jen. Jenna has been an incredible mentor and friend, playing a key role in my growth as a photographer. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside her on shoots for CLOTHING BRAND Glik’s and serve as her second shooter for weddings, learning firsthand from her talent and experience. I now share a creative space with her at The Studio, where collaboration and inspiration are part of our everyday work.

I had the invaluable opportunity to be mentored by Cameron Campbell, interim chair of the Department of Architecture at Iowa State University, professor, and renowned architectural photographer. Under his guidance, I deepened my technical skills and artistic vision through his architectural photography course. Beyond the classroom, I assisted him on several impactful projects, including photographing the Reinaldo Correa Díaz art installation at the Iowa State Student Innovation Center and contributing to documentation for UI Health Care in North Liberty. These experiences shaped my eye for detail, structure, and storytelling through architecture-focused imagery.
